Electronic Issue of Rates/Government Rent Demands

To meet public expectation of receiving demand notes online, the Department plans to issue its first batch of electronic demands for rates and/or Government rent for the quarter of January to March 2011 in mid December 2010.

Subscription to the e-bill service is scheduled to start on 6 December 2010. This new initiative is in support of the Government's digital strategy in providing more electronic services to the public, together with the objective of reducing paper consumption to promote a green environment.
